The very highest standards craftsmanship guarantees uncompromising quality.
The skilled craftsmanship that goes into the manufacture of every item of de Sede furniture is one very important reason for the international acclaim that the Swiss company enjoys. Even today, each and every article that leaves the factory in Klingnau has also been produced there
From the purchase of the leather through its storage, from its cutting through its sewing - some of which is performed at our own facilities in the Czech Republic - right up to the upholstery, the staff at de Sede devote their closest attention and painstaking concentration to their work.
Anonymous production processes are unknown here: each craftsman is a master of his art and accompanies the furniture through several stages of its manufacture. Regular controls ensure that quality always remains constant: for instance, every hide is inspected five separate times in the course of being processed, while de Sede also subjects itself to an ongoing process of improvement. Also impressive are the dimensions of the leather centre, which permanently stocks in the region of 40,000 square metres of the finest nappa leather.
